Data & Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Trade5 account, or request deletion of certain non-essential data only. Both processes are handled by email through our support team. Please read the relevant section below for the steps and our data retention policy.

01Request to Delete Account

Steps to Request Deletion

  1. Send an email from the email address registered with your Trade5 account to support@trade5.com.
  2. Please use the subject line: Trade5 Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Phone Number or Email] - [Your UID].
  3. To ensure the security of your assets, our support team will contact you for identity verification after receiving your request.
  4. Once your identity is verified and all pending assets are cleared, we will process the deletion of your account and associated data within 30 business days and send you a confirmation email.

Data Deletion & Retention Policy

Data that will be deleted: Your personal profile information (avatar, nickname), device binding information, personalized settings, system notification records, and all marketing/promotional data.

Data that will be retained and retention period: In compliance with local financial anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, your identity verification information and historical transaction records cannot be deleted immediately. These records will be securely archived and retained for 5 years after your account is deleted. Upon the expiration of this 5-year period, the data will be permanently destroyed. During this retention period, this data will not be used for any commercial or marketing purposes.

Steps to Request Deletion

If you wish to continue using Trade5 but would like to clear certain history or non-essential data, please follow these steps to submit a request:

  1. Send an email from the email address registered with your Trade5 account to support@trade5.com.
  2. Please use the subject line: Trade5 Data Deletion Request - [Your Registered Phone Number or Email] - [Your UID].
  3. Clearly specify the types of non-essential data you wish to delete (e.g., search history, browsing records, etc.) in the body of the email.
  4. We will process your request within 30 business days of receipt and reply with a confirmation.

Data Deletion & Retention Policy

Data that can be deleted: Your search history, in-app browsing footprint, non-essential activity logs, and advertising/marketing preference data.

Data that must be retained: As long as your account remains active, we will continue to retain your login credentials (username, password), core identity information, current account balance, and active order data to ensure the proper functioning of our services.
